VIDEO BOOK SYNOPSIS

I was close to Tracy Neef at the time of her disappearance. Our parents were friends, I want to know how to light a fire under their butts of whoever it takes to solve her case and give Tracy and her parents the Peace they deserve. My son now attends the school she was taken from. Michelle Tadieo

In my experience it sometimes takes years to solve cases. Unfortunately. The reason is after the first 24 hours the case starts going cold and for every hour after that the odds of finding the perpetrator gets slimmer and slimmer. Most law enforcement departments are short on man power and unlike TV shows they don't have the time of the man power to turn over every rock. There was a case in Florida where I live that took over thirty years to close- and it was the beginning of the killings of Gerard Schaefer, It was solved and closed after he died. There are still victims that we know he killed but it was never pointed to him and some of their bodies have never been found. This is one of the reasons among many that I write true crime it is to give the victims a voice - so they can find peace. I am sure it is also one of the many reasons that Jim Benish writes them too. It would be nice to be able to close every cold case out there and offer some peace for the families who are also victims. Yvonne Mason, Author

Closed Eyes is the most interesting hands on publication of actual events that Ive ever read, To actually understand how the system works,,,,(or doesnt) is unbeliveible!!!!! And to think that there's still a person like that, roaming the streets where are children play. Jim Benish does a fantastic job of getting inside a killers mind,,,,I couldn't put it down!!!!!!!! a must read!!!! Joe Wheeler San Diego, Calif.

Amanda Steinhoff hits a home run with this story about young female pirates. This story has an imaginative flare sprinkled with innocent romance. Pirates of the high seas in the 1600's were competing with Lili and her crew for the booty and adventure available to them everywhere they sailed. Lili could be described as a young woman's "Harry Potter".
